Dear President, Dear Secretary General, The Royal Spanish Canoeing Federation is pleased to invite your Federation to participate in the ICF CANOE SLALOM WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2009, to be held in LA SEU D’URGELL (Spain), from September 9th to 13th, 2009. We are extremely excited to host this event. La Seu d’Urgell has a proven record in organising high level canoeing competitions. These previous events have attracted good TV and media exposure for the sport. We are convinced that we can organise an amazing and successful World Championships in 2009 and we hope you will be part of this event. The Royal Spanish Federation is delighted to welcome all National Teams for official training and the actual competition and we hope that ICF CANOE SLALOM WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS held on the slalom course in La Seu d’Urgell will see excellent competition and memorable sporting moments for your team. We also hope that La Seu d’Urgell’s historical monuments and cultural programme will prove to be a suitable backdrop for these Championships.
