A tar road runs along the northern side of the Lavansa river between Molí de Fórnols and Tuixent. The old road between the towns in the Lavansa valley and Tuixent, the main town in the valley, is on the southern side of the river. The combination of these two roads offers a short circular route through picturesque scenery.

From Molí de Fórnols, cross over the river in the direction of the campsite. Turn left along the road through the forest up the Lavansa river valley to Tuixent. The return is down hill along the tar road. If you start in Tuixent it is recommended that you start with the down hill section along the tar road and return along the gravel road.
